Dawn is a Ph.D. student in political science. Her research interests
include human rights, conflict, democratization, and foreign policy.
She is particularly interested in how foreign policy influences
domestic politics. She has taught classes at the University of North
Texas, The Pennsylvania State University, and the University of
Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. Courses taught include Research
Methods in Political Science, Introduction to International Relations,
American Politics, European Political Institutions, American Foreign
Policy, and Theories of International Relations. Her teaching interests
include the use of simulation and role play in the classroom.
